She is the Mando-pop Diva, Ah Mei. Last Year, releasing her "first" transformed music to hard rock, which was a success to her comeback after her setback in her career in Warner Music.
Gold Typhoon, her current label made the right choice to release her first rock label in the Asia Market.
The biggest "newcomer" of 2009 has to be AMIT. On March 25, 2007, the Taiwan Pop Diva performed under her Puyuma aboriginal name for the very first time. Since then, it has taken her 834 days and cost NTD 30 Million to produce her first album in this new identity. The album titled AMIT carries the added meaning of "AH MEI MUSIC IS TRANSFORMED" presents a never-before-seen side of Ah Mei, and promises a new sound and style very different from what we've come to expect from her.
Partnered by Golden Melody Award-winning producer, Adia, AMIT experiments with alternatives music with considerable aboriginal characteristics, like in the main plug "Ancient Tune" and first single "Alter ego."
